Original ‘Rocky Horror’ Brad Majors & ‘Star Wars’ Actor Chris Malcolm Dead at 67

Chris Malcolm, the actor who starred in the original UK production of The Rocky Horror Show, passed away on February 15 after a struggle with cancer. Malcolm was 67 years old. In addition to originating the role of Brad Majors, Malcolm was also known for his roles in Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back and The Labyrinth.

In addition his stage roles Malcolm was a member of the Star Wars universe. Malcolm portrayed Rogue 2 pilot Zev Senesca in Star Wars Episode V: The Empire Strikes Back. Back in 2006 Malcolm spoke to Jedi News about his part in the classic film franchise:

"At the time of filming it was a growing phenomenon so there was a knowledge that we were in something special, but there was also the normal physical grind of movie making.”
Malcom’s time in the Star Wars universe also connected him with another famous film:

“My stuff in the beginning had to be shot with a special camera and we had to wait days and days before they got the right effect for the blue screen. In fact the camera they used was very famous as it was the one that shot Gone With the Wind."

Some of Malcolm's other films included the Rocky Horror sequel, Shock Treatment; The Labyrinth, Highlander and Superman 3, just to name a few.
