Tony Winner BD Wong on Wrong Side of ‘Law & Order’ in Fox’s ‘Gotham’ as Hugo Strange

B.D. Wong knows a thing or two about Law & Order, Playing forensic psychiatrist and FBI criminal profiler Special Agent George Huang, on Law & Order: SVU as well as Oswald State Penitentiary chaplain Father Ray Mukada in HBO’s OZ. But now Wong is taking on something a little stranger. The Tony Award winner is returning to TV this Monday, Professor Hugo Strange in Fox’s Batman prequel series, Gotham. Check out the report below for a look at Tony

The official Fox.com plot synopsis for this Monday’s all new Spring Premiere episode of Gotham, titled “Wrath of the Villains: Mr. Freeze,” reads:

“Nathan Darrow (“House of Cards”) and BD Wong (“Law & Order: Special Victims Unit”) Guest-Star. Penguin takes a hit for Galavan’s murder, but doesn’t let Gordon off easily. Meanwhile, Gordon and Bullock investigate the body-snatching spree of Victor Fries (guest star Nathan Darrow), one of Gotham’s preeminent cryogenics engineers in the all-new “Wrath of the Villains: Mr. Freeze” Spring Premiere episode of GOTHAM airing Monday, Feb. 29.”

You can catch B.D. Wong’s Gotham debut this Monday night at 8:00 p.m, eastern on Fox.

In addition to his many film and TV roles, Wong also won the Tony Award for Best Performance by a Featured Actor in a Play for his Broadway debut in M. Butterfly. Some of Wong’s other theater credits include You’re A Good Man Charlie Brown, Pacific Overtures and Herringbone.
