Jennifer Garner dropped a bombshell during her Vanity Fair interview for its March issue. Not only did she admitt to ex-husband Ben Affleck's nanny scandal, she even revealed that they were already separated months before she heard about Christine Ouzounian. When Affleck learned about this revelation, he had his pal Matt Damon's shoulder to lean on.
In photos obtained by E! News, Affleck was seen looking pretty haggard as he attended the William Morris Endeavors’ pre-Oscar party on Friday, February 26. The site stated that the 43-year-old actor was then spotted having a “bro-moment” with his long-time BFF, Damon.
“They were very engaged with each other and looked very happy to be hanging out, like old friends that didn’t skip a beat,” the source told the site. “Ben did not seem like he was in the party mode but Matt was smiling a lot. Ben was more into just seeing Matt and catching up. When they first saw each other, they gave a man hug filled with love.”
Another source shared to the site that the Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice actor was not in a good mood saying, "He was seen walking around alone not engaging with many people."
Garner didn't hold back when she was asked during her Vanity Fair interview regarding her much talked-about split from Affleck. “Let me just tell you something. We had been separated for months before I ever heard about the nanny,” she admitted. “She had nothing to do with our decision to divorce. She was not part of the equation."

Affleck and Garner announced their split back in June, just one day after celebrating their 10-year wedding anniversary.
"We go forward with love and friendship for one another and a commitment to co-parenting our children whose privacy we ask to be respected during this difficult time," the couple said in a joint statement to ET.
