'Bunheads' Sutton Foster Talks Joining ‘Gilmore Girls’ Netflix Reboot Cast

Tony Winner Sutton Foster is making her way to Star’s Hollow. Foster formerly starred in Bunheads, by Amy Sherman-Palladino, who also created Gilmore Girls. So, now that Gilmore Girls is getting a Netflix reboot, Foster is coming along for the ride.

Sutton Foster recently spoke to People about her what it was like being on set:

“This is where my brain explodes: I go from supernerdy superfan to on-set talking to
Lorelai Gilmore [Lauren Helen Graham]”

Like many of us, Foster was absolutely addicted to GG when it originally ran:

“It was my favorite show of all time. I was totally obsessed with it. When they told me it got rebooted for Netflix and they were writing a part for me, I texted Lauren Graham and said, ‘We’re finally going to be working together. There will be tears.’”

However, do not expect to see Foster every episode. The actress went on to discuss the size of her role:

“It’s a smaller part featured in one of the episodes.”
