‘Producers’ Matthew Broderick & Christine Ebersole Perform ‘Poets of Amityville’ Reading

Tony Award winners Matthew Broderick (The Producers) and Christine Ebersole (42nd Street,) will perform a special invite only reading of Eugene Pack’s The Poets of Amityville, tomorrow night (Tuesday, March 7). The reading is produced by Circus Road Films and Theatricals & Big Head Productions.

According to Broadway World, the cast will include a wealth talent including Matthew Broderick, Christine Ebersole, Tovah Feldshuh, Geraldine Hughes,Carol Kane, Dayle Reyfel, Peter Scolari, Treat Williams, Patrick Boll and Kate Mueth.

Broadway World’s description of the show, reads:

Poets of Amityville is a comedy which centers on an adult education poetry class in Long Island where a possible trip to Dublin ignites a competition.”

Recently, Matthew Broderick reunited Nathan Lane to reprise their roles as Bialystock and Bloom from the hit musical The Producers.

The reunion was for a sketch on Jimmy Kimmel Live, with the famous pair serving as Political Consultants whose scheme involves secretly running Donald J Trump’s Presidential campaign and promising ambassadorships to France in exchange for donations.
