Star-Studded Broadway Benefit Concert Adds Jane Krakowski, Vanessa Williams, and More to Lineup Alongside Kristin Chenoweth

A line-up of Broadway icons, all of whom are Roundabout Theatre Company (RTC) alums, are set to be featured in an upcoming one-night-only benefit concert in honor of the late former RTC artistic director Todd Haimes at the Stephen Sondheim Theatre in New York on April 15. 

Headlining the event, dubbed "Kristin: An Evening With Friends for Todd," is Tony-winning "Wicked" actress Kristin Chenoweth, with direction and choreography from Warren Carlyle of "After Midnight (2013)" fame.

Recently revealed to be joining Chenoweth in the event are likewise Roundabout favorites Laura Benanti, Victoria Clark, Peter Gallagher, Jane Krakowski, Debra Monk, Kelli O'Hara, and Vanessa Williams. 

In addition, her fellow "On the Twentieth Century" cast members Phillip Attmore, Rick Faugno, Drew King, and Richard Riaz Yoder, all of whom performed as the tap-dancing porters for the 2015 revival, will join the Chenoweth in celebrating Haimes' illustrious career.

Celebrating Kristin Chenoweth's Long History with RTC

Chenoweth herself has long relished her involvement with Roundabout's projects, including in its 1997 Off-Broadway stage show "Scapin," alongside starring on "The Apple Tree" and the aforementioned "On the Twentieth Century."

Originating the role of Glinda in Wicked, Chenoweth received her Tony wins for her performances in "You're a Good Man" and "Charlie Brown." As for her other appearances in Roundabout productions, these include showings in "Kiss Me, Kate!" and "She Loves Me." 

VIP tickets for the evening show will allow holders to enter and enjoy an exclusive post-event party. All the proceeds from the performance will go into the theater production's host of programs and initiatives, which include its educational projects. 

Presenting the "Kristin: An Evening With Friends for Todd" event as the lead sponsor is Bank of America, joined by gold sponsors Susan and Ed Forst, Diane and Tom Tuft, and Fran and Paul Turner. 

As for silver sponsors, they comprise  Michael T. Cohen, Colliers International NY LLC, Jill and Barry Lafer, Jennifer and Owen Thomas, and Cynthia C. Wainwright and Stephen Berger. 

Concession partners, on the other hand, comprise DE-NADA Tequila, Golden Ram, Hendrick's Gin, and Reyka Vodka.
