Latin Superstar Rauw Alejandro Drops New Single ‘Touching The Sky’ Alongside an Official Music Video

On May 24, Latin Grammy Award-winning and 4x Grammy-nominated Puerto Rican singer and songwriter Rauw Alejandro releases his new single "Touching The Sky," following a track preview earlier in the week.

The song marks Rauw's first solo release in 2024 and is a new chapter of the Latin artist's career. Sonically, the single exudes energies befitting of a summer anthem and is perfect for the incoming hot season.

About 'Touching The Sky' and Its Music Video

Alongside the new offering is a new video directed by Martin Seipel and produced by Rocío Taboada, featuring Rauw dancing across New York City while also giving fans a first look into the artist's new fashion era.

The video made its global broadcast premiere on MTV Live, MTVU, MTV Flow Latino, and across MTV's global network of channels, as well as on the Paramount Times Square billboards.

Blasting in the scene starting in 2016, Rauw has been leading the new generation of Latin music artists and has since been one of Reggaeton's fastest-rising stars.

Exemplifying the Puerto Rican singer-songwriter's pulling power, not only for audiences but also concerning other superstars, are his high-profile collaborations with the likes of Shakira ("Te Felicito") Selena Gomez ("Baila Conmigo"), Anuel AA ("Reloj") and Camilo ("Tattoo") among others.

His meteoric rise to standing shoulder-to-shoulder with prominent figures in Latin urban music has been indisputable and has only increased in the last couple of years. Specifically, Rauw has shown continuous musical evolution through the delivery of constantly refreshing soundscapes.

Earlier this year, Rauw released his fourth studio album "Playa Saturno." The 14-track "spinoff" of "Saturno" features collaborations with Jowell y Randy, Miguel Bosé, and Junior H.
