All rumors of a breakup between Modern Family star Sofia Vergara and fiance Nick Loeb have been laid low. She has been seen sporting her monster engagement ring at the Santa Monica Fertility Clinic. Not only is the couple still getting married, they are already planning for a baby.
A close friend of Vergara has told Star that the couple is planning their wedding, just not quite as quickly as their schedules allow::
“Sofia is definitely still wearing her engagement ring and can’t wait to be married--it’s just that she’s so busy it’s hard to pin down a date for the wedding. But they’re not in a rush to tie the knot; Sofia is enjoying the journey and doesn't feel any pressure to make things official between her and Nick.”
While that may be true, there is no doubt that Vergara is in a hurry to secure a part of her meandering journey with Loeb. When asked about her Dec. 12 visit to a fertility clinic, Verga was very open with Star about freezing her eggs.
“I just wanted to plan ahead. My boyfriend Nicky is three years younger than me and he’s never had a son. I have my son, Manolo, so its not an emergency for me to have another kid, but for Nicky, he’s never had a baby. Nothing happens naturally anymore. I want to take advantage of science. Why not?”
That sounds so matter fact, you have to wonder if she’s bothered to tell Nicky?
