Anyone familiar with The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills knows that one of Brandi Glanville’s biggest passions in life is playing a drunk mess on and off television. That is just an offence mechanism, says the reality star. She may be sad, lonely, depressed and drunk all the time, but she is not an alcoholic.
Glanville made a drunken fool of herself one night last July, when she flashed her thong, her breasts and even her tampon string.
The hot mess needed two people to carry her out of her 41st birthday in November, because she could no longer stand.
Then in December, she once again became overly intoxicated, this time at the cast's Palm Springs getaway, that she insulted everyone and alienated herself even further.
Glanville recently did her best to explain her sad mood that leads to this behavior to soborbook.com (via In Touch):
“My big, chaotic house is silent and the feeling of falling back into darkness that it took me so long to come out of hits me.”
The mother of two thinks it’s fine to have a drink or ten, when you’re frustrated and it’s expected of you anyway. She dismissed her recent escapades as completely understandable given her circumstance to In Touch:
“Do I sometimes overdo it, yes. If I did not get drunk, or kiss a girl, there would not be a season of Housewives...Am i an alcoholic? if you had to be around these crazy bitches, you’d be drinking, too. i leaned on alcohol more than i should have this year. But I don’t think I have a problem.”
Spoiler Alert: If you have to explain to complete strangers that you’re not an alcoholic, then you have a drinking problem.
