Kaley Cuoco is best known as the girl in the oddball cast of 'Big Bang Theory.' It might surprise fans of the show that she takes the cake, however, for real life screw loose. The 28-year-old didn’t go as far out for her crazy wedding to fiance Ryan Sweeting as she would have liked, but she did get to show up in a pastel pink Vera Wang gown to cut the up-side-down chandelier cake.
It truly has been a whirlwind romance between Kaley and Ryan. The pair got engaged just three months after meeting.
Kaley knows how it looks, and it's not what it looks like. Things may be moving quickly, but only because they already know each other so well, the star explained to Entertainment Tonight:
"From day one I just knew immediately and it's been magic. We have all the same family friends. We grew up with the same people, we just never met. So I kind of feel that I've known him my whole life. I know that it seems a little crazy on paper, but it's what works for us.”
At first, her wedding plans also seemed a little crazy on paper. Kaley joked publicly about riding in on a horse or having a cake in the shape of a dog's head.
Instead, she went for a slightly different fire and ice themed affair. An eyewitness to the event held at the Hummingbird Nest Ranch in Santa Susana, California told In Touch all about it:
“The property was decorated with crystal chandeliers, white roses and white tree branches that made it look like a snowy forest. Everything was white except for the pink shag carpet--and Kaley’s dress!”
There is just no accounting for good taste.
