Rumors continue to fly about a potential 50 Shades of Grey movie curse. The film's first Christian Grey, Charlie Hunnam, mysteriously dropped out of the project. Then rumors arose that Dakota Johnson and Rita Ora could be breaking up with their boyfriends over the film. Now filming is being delayed over bad weather and even worse neighbors.
Is there a curse surrounding the film adaptation of EL James popular adult novels? Well, that's certainly how it seems.
Due to the terrible weather in Canada, the entire film crew had to head down to Miami. When they were allowed to return to Toronto, things didn't get much better.
While recently filming a scene that takes place as it's raining, the crew encountered some problems from nearby neighbors. According to a report by E! News, a cowbell nearly ruined their take:
"Neighbors at the building were upset over the noise and water flying everywhere. An older man continued to ruin scenes by opening his window and shaking a cowbell. He did not stop until they came to some sort of a resolution with producers."
Production trouble isn't the only damage the film has allegedly caused. A recent report in The Mirror suggests that Rita Ora has broken up with boyfriend Calvin Harris:
"It's been tough for both of them but it's been even harder for them to spend time together recently. He's been busy DJing and she's working on her new album and shooting Fifty Shades of Grey. Calvin is more private when it comes to fame than Rita, which also played a part. He'd be happy to meet someone who has nothing to do with the industry."
Unfortunately, Rita's not the only cast member who's rumored to have relationship trouble. An earlier edition of Star reports that Dakota Johnson and her boyfriend Jordan Masterson may breakup:
"There's no grey area when it comes to Dakota Johnson's new status in Hollywood. After landing the role of Anastasia Steele in the film adaptation of Fifty Shades of Grey, the 24-year-old went from under-the-radar to in-the-spotlight star. But one person who is struggling with Dakota's highly sexualized role is her Scientologist boyfriend of one year."
It suddenly doesn't seem so crazy that Charlie Hunnam abandoned the film just weeks before filming was scheduled to commence.
