'Let Me Explain' Kevin Hart 'Seriously Funny' Getting Engaged to Girlfriend; 'Ride Along' Tops Box Office

Kevin Hart is known more for his standup specials, like the wildly successful Let Me Explain and Seriously Funny, but with buddy comedy Ride Along topping the box-office for the second weekend in a row, he may soon be known as film carrying movie star. It's enough to have the diminutive star considering getting engaged to longtime girlfriend Eniko Parrish.

Kevin Hart has been a fixture in B-movies and the comedy circuit for years, but now it looks like the star might have his big break.

In Hart's new film with Ice Cube, he plays the goofy fiancé that agrees to go on a 24-hour patrol with a crazy Atlanta policeman to prove he is man enough to marry his lady.

The cop buddy movie may not be the freshest concept, but then again, it doesn't have to have to be novel to put butts in seats. And according to Bloomberg, it's been doing that pretty well:

"Ride Along, the buddy comedy with Kevin Hart and Ice Cube, placed first in U.S. and Canadian theaters for a second weekend, collecting $21.2 million for Comcast Corp. (CMCSA)'s Universal Pictures."

The star just might seize this moment of his greatest commercial success to pop the question to girlfriend of four years Eniko Parrish.

A friend close to the couple tells Us Weekly that Hart is more ready than he has ever been to ask Parrish to marry him:

"He is obsessed with her and wants to propose. He thinks Eniko is the girl for him! She's been by his side through the crazy-good years he's had. They make each other happy."

What more could anyone want out of a lover than to stick with you through the good times. That takes courage.
