For months now, rumors have been flying that Ellen DeGeneres is getting a divorce and has been cheating on her wife. A new tabloid report is claiming that wife Portia de Rossi is being pressured to undergo plastic surgery.
The March 17 edition of Star doesn't pull any punches, as they once again attack the marriage of Ellen and Portia. The tabloid insists that Ellen is losing interest in Portia and, as a result, Portia will do anything to appear young:
"Portia will try any new trick to retain her looks and keep Ellen attracted to her. She spends thousands on luxury facial creams and beauty products-and even more on dermatologists."
Sadly, this isn't enough for Ellen. The same insider goes on to reveal that Portia's plans are backfiring:
"The worst part is that Portia has invested so much time and money into trying to look young, but it's backfiring. Ellen loves edgy women in their 20s; Portia's starting to look like a Beverly Hills housewife."
Star isn't the only tabloid to take on Ellen and Portia's union. Gossip site Inquistr even claimed that their PDA at the Oscars was for nothing more than publicity:
"The couple made an appearance at the Vanity Fair post-Oscars party, getting close and appearing to show no marital stress as paparazzi snapped pictures. Though some speculate that Ellen DeGeneres and Porti de Rossi may have just been putting in a show, the rumors of their divorce still persist."
