Simon Cowell may have a few stateside hits under his belt and may even get engaged to American Lauren Silverman, but the surly music mogul is a Brit through and though. According to the latest baby news rumors, Si wants little Eric raised in educated in dreary ole England
Cowell doesn't have a problem with American money or American people, but that doesn't mean he wants his boy to grow up to be some damned yank.
Ann insider close to Simon told Star that if anything convinced Cowell to keep the baby in the UK, it's the appalling educational system in the United States (via OK! Magazine):
"Simon has said he wants his son to be brought up British and is keen for Eric to attend an English school."
Plus, according to OK! Magazine, Simon recently admitted that it would be weird for the baby to sound so much different than him:
"It's be quite odd, me being a Brit and having a baby with an American accent."
The couple is back in England to show the baby off to Si's mum, but it hasn't been confirmed for just how long.
One thing Simon did confirm to Extra's Terri Seymour, you can count on their being another baby, even if you can't be sure of his eventual accent (via Express):
"I wouldn't rule out [more children]. Well, I got Squiddly and Diddly, and I couldn't imagine Squiddly or just Diddly.
"I had a brother when I was younger, so I kind of think it's cool to have two or three...two."
Thank god he is better at naming babies than he is dogs.
