The Voice's Blake Shelton and Adam Levine have had a friendly rivalry since they joined the show, but now Levine has taken things to an entirely new level. For months, Blake Shelton and Miranda Lambert divorce rumors have been flying, and Adam couldn't help but jump on the bandwagon, by jokingly claiming that Blake is drinking so heavily that it has left him impotent.
Adam, who is known for being quite the practical jokester, made the comments when appearing on Chelsea Lately. Host of the show, Chelsea Handler quickly brought up his fake romance with Blake Shelton.
When Chelsea asked how long the two have been dating, Levine responded:
"We're having some sexual problems, though. He drinks a lot so . . . It's a problem. But it's fine. He's okay. We'll be all right. We'll figure it out somehow."
Levine's jabs were especially funny, considering that tabloids have been accusing Blake of destroying his marriage through binge drinking. One source who spoke to OK! claims that Miranda is fed up with Blake's behavior:
"Miranda told Blake that he's almost 40 years old [he turns 38 in June] and needs to stop with his all-night frat-boy lifestyle. Miranda finally declared that he needs to either grow and mature with her, or she's leaving."
Turns out that Miranda is also sick of drinking, herself. The same insider goes on to reveal that:
"Losing weight has really helped Miranda grow spiritually. She feels like a whole new person. She's realized that she feels much better without staying up all night and drinking alcohol."
