It looks like Teresa Giudice, of Real Housewives of New Jersey fame, may not be guilty of her latest allegations of fraud. In a recent turn of events, it was claimed that Teresa will be donating the proceeds she raised from the cash only book signing.
According to one source who spoke with Radar Online, Teresa will be donating the funds she raised from the book signing to the Nephcure Foundation:
"The arrangement was always that Teresa would be giving all proceeds to the Nephcure Foundation, which seeks to find a cure for debilitating kidney diseases. Teresa had several expenses related to the book signing, and several vendors that had to be paid. All of the profits were donated to the charity. In no way whatsoever was Teresa trying to make a quick buck."
And how much money did she make for the charity? $400.
Of course, it was Radar Online who first broke news of Giudice's questionable actions. One eyewitness told the gossip site:
"Teresa was advertised as the celebrity guest and that she would be signing copies of her latest book. But nowhere was it advertised that she would be charging guests $25 to sign and take a photo with her!"
The same insider went on to reveal:
"When you walked up to her, the woman next to her was quick to advise that it was $25 and 'cash only.' Cash only? Who takes cash only? Even Teresa was telling guests it was 'cash only, no receipts' and she had bags of cash beside her where her colleague was collecting the money."
What do you think about the latest claims? Is Teresa really giving the money to charity?
