Kate Hudson and Matt Bellamy has decided to postpone their split. The couple are reportedly planning their wedding once again, just in time for the summer season. Perhaps they want to get hitched, so they can have the true closuer that only a very public and ugly Hollywood divorce can bring.
Kate Hudson started the rumors that she and fiancé front man Matt Bellamy were splitting by showing up at a slew of high profile Tinsel Town events sans Bellamy and his engagement ring.
She may find that now, despite their reported reconciliation, once the rumor mill has started it can be a little difficult to stop.
According to gossip, Kate was tired of Matt always being on tour, and he was fed up with her superficial L.A. lifestyle, until Goldie Hawn set them down for the ole time-to-come-to-jesus tough love talk:
An insider revealed to OK! Magazine that Goldie was fed so fed up with her little girl's BS she couldn't take it anymore:
"It seems like they've grown bored with their relationship and don't make much of an effort.
"Goldie told Kate, 'You think it was going to be easy? You have a child; Make it work!
"Goldie would be heartbroken if Kate and Matt don't walk down the aisle...It's all she's been hoping for since they got engaged three years ago; she loves Matt and wants him in the family."
An insider told Star that getting grounded by Goldie was all it really took to get their heads back on straight:
"She made them realize that what they have is a good thing...They want to get married this summer."
Now all they have to do is make it through the next six months, and then Kate and Matt can start planning that divorce, they've truly always dreamed of having.
