It has been rumored for months that day time talk show host Ellen DeGeneres and her wife Portia de Rossi were headed for divorce due to hectic schedules and abusive attitudes, but that is all over. Gossip news has surfaced that Portia is planning on getting pregnant in order to save her marriage to Ellen. With a baby on the way, the couple won't have to follow through with their split.
Ellen and Portia have been reportedly having problems in their marriage for-semingly-ever now, due to their wandering eyes and bad attitudes.
A report filed by Celeb Dirty Laundry places the blame for the couple's woes firmly atop both de Rossi and DeGeneres' shoulders:
"Some sources say that it's Ellen's trust and insecurity issues, and that she's constantly accusing Portia of cheating on her or flirting with other women.
"Portia, on the other hand, reportedly feels like Ellen instigates a lot of fights for no reason, and she doesn't like being in such a negative environment. Basically, it's a lose-lose situation."
Word has it that Hollywood's oldest lesbian couple have decided to put all the problems in the past and are instead focusing on growing their future.
An insider reportedly told the National Inquirer that Portia is going to literally being growing, for about nine months anyway:
"Portia put the baby issue on the back burner for years knowing Ellen wasn't altogether receptive.
"I think Ellen has had misgivings about chasing after a young one when she'll be into her 60s.
"But Portia turns 40 in January, and in the end, Ellen loves Portia with all her heart.
"If a baby is that important to Portia, Ellen can't say no to her...Next year is going to be the year for them."
Worst case scenario Portia gets a new friend and Ellen gets another servant--everybody wins.
