Billy Crystal has quite the glowing resume as a host. And to add to his various emcee gigs, he's taking on Jazz at Lincoln Center's latest Love, Loss & Laughter: The Story of Jazz.
Even better? The event will receive a live (and free) simulcast from JALC, happening Thursday, May 1 at 7 p.m. EST.
The concert will feature, of course, the Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra with Wynton Marsalis.
Other appearances include jazz heavyweights like: Aaron Diehl, Bill Cosby, Cécile McLorin Salvant, Dianne Reeves, Dominick Farinacci, Fairview Baptist Church Brass Band, Joey Alexander, Jon Faddis, Jonathan Batiste, Marcus Roberts, Mark O'Conner's Hot Swing, Norm Lewis, Pedrito Martinez and Taj Mahal.
JALC is calling this even a "once in a lifetime concert." And I couldn't agree any more with that statement.
