Despite being the intrawebs hottest rumor Divergent British beau Theo James isn't dating Fault of Our Stars cancer patient Shailene Woodley and never has been. The Underworld action star has been Ruth Kearney's boyfriend ever since they met in school years ago. Besides, Shailene told Jimmey Kimmel in an interview on his late night show this week that she doesn't want to even be tied down to a house, so you can probably forget about her being anybody's girlfriend. And really who wants to date a homeless girl anyways?
Divergent gem Shailene Woodley has been rumored to be dating both her Divergent co-stars Theo James and Ansel Elgort, but truth be told, she is too free to be any one man's girl.
The former child actress told Jimmy Kimmel during an interview on his show that she doesn't like her life to be cluttered up with too many lifestyle complications anyways--like possessions or a house to put them in (via E! News):
"I have some kitchen items that my grandma is using. But other than that, yeah, everything that I own and use is in a carry-on suitcase.
"I was only home for 15 days last year and I got home and I was like, 'I don't want to be alone. I want to be with my friends and family.'
"So, I got rid of everything just so I could have one suitcase that would be easy to transport between houses and just kind of couch surf for a few months.
"I was only here in L.A. for two months, so when you're home you kind of want to soak up faces and places...And then I leave again."
Shailene went on to explain that she had a home that she owned in L.A. once, but she decided to just give it to her grandmother.
Really puts that tiny check and crappy card that you sent your nana last Mother's Day in perspective...doesn't it?
