Magic Mike XXL Channing Tatum is a wild man on and off the set. In an incredibly candid GQ interview he recently admitted to being a functioning drunk/vandal. It may come as shock to Channing's fans who only see Tatum as a wholesome stripper, that he likes to cut loose. Tatum opened up about his night punching cop cars with douchebag Shia LeBeouf and well as his bet with 22 Jump Street co-star/bi-wife Jonah Hill that he would have to kiss his dick if their first film grossed $35 million, which it definitely did. Funny that Big Love's Linda Lovelace, actress Amanda Seyfried still reminisces about their "great" Dear John makeout scenes, sort of.
Apparently Tatum Channing isn't afraid to admit that he is a little more than found of the not-so-occasional drink, though according to the 34-year-old sex symbol it keeps him as creative as it does tight.
The Mage Mike super-star opened up in the June issue of GQ--admitting that his work and play are sometimes fueled by alcohol (via Life & Style):
"I probably drink too much...I'm probably a pretty high-functioning alcoholic.
"I equate it to creativity and...having a good time."
And Channing definitely knows how to have fun; he told GQ that Jonah Hill made a deal with him that if 21 Jump Street did well enough, he would be puckering up-but not to kiss him of his ass (via Life & Style):
"[Jonah said,] 'I will kiss your dick through your underwear if we make $35 million,"...I haven't made him do it yet."
According to Dear John actress Amanda Seyfried, Jonah probably isn't missing out on much; she told Just Jared that despite all the on-screen romance, their time together was hardly memorable:
"I don't remember...I'm pretty sure it was great. It was easy! He's a funny guy."
That it kind of funny, because Shia Lebeouf describes the drunken evening he spent with Channing as the time of his life (via E News):
"Channing was supposed to be the head honcho in the movie, so he goes, 'All right, you see that bookstore? Somebody throw a rock. Let's break in and steal a Spider-Man bookmark.'
"And Peter and me look at each other like, 'Dude, what? Are you f--king kidding me?'"
"He grabs the bookmarks and jets...So now you got these little actor kids running down the street in New York, freaking out."
And no one has been friends with Shia LeBeouf even since...thank god.
