Aging Hollywood icon and retiring playboy George Clooney has decided to end his bachelor lifestyle once and for all, by getting engaged to marry London lawyer girlfriend Alamuddin, later this summer. Word has it though that the Monument Men star's man-friends are planning on throwing him an epic stag party before the big day, though there are fears that George's new fiancé could put the ole kibosh on the whole party. According to some sources, who claim that history's worst Batman is getting cold-feet, Alamuddin should be more worried Clooney cancelling the whole wedding.
George Clooney's pals aren't ready to let the bachelor segue into married life without a blow-out party to celebrate the send-off, according to recent reports.
The way In Touch tells it George is absolutely stoked about the party, though he isn't saying much about it to his soon-to be wife Amal Alamuddin:
"George is 'thrilled' with the plans (which will likely include hitting up Spearmint Rhino Gentlemen's Club in Santa Barbara, California.
"[But] George isn't necessarily planning to tell Amal all the details of his party."
According to an eye/earwitness who overheard Clooney talking about it at Italian eatery Tre Lune in Montecito, the man's plans definitely include lots of drinking and nude women (via In Touch):
"His friends were talking about strippers, alcohol and barhopping...He was into it."
George might not mind talking about the bachelor party plans, but rumor has it that talking about the wedding gets him all flustered.
One insider swears that even though George wants to spend his life with Amal, he is constantly having second thoughts (via National Enquirer):
"He is so afraid he is going to fail at marriage again, and the thought of going through another divorce scares him to death. Just talking about the wedding plans makes him break out in a sweat.
"He is definitely in love with Amal, and isn't having second thoughts about marrying her, however, he is definitely having serious wedding jitters."
Well...there's nothing like a drink at a strip club to calm the nerves.
