The rumors that Pirates of the Caribbean elf Orlando Bloom was doing his damnedest to hook up with 'Red' country music star Taylor Swift seemed preposterous despite their persistence, until now. For weeks the tabloid gossip news has been than the Hobbit star was trying to parlay his relationship with Justin Bieber's topless Spring Breakers ex-girlfriend, Selena Gomez, into dating the "22" country singer. Well, unless you believe in coincidence it looks like Miranda Kerr's ex-husband is launching phase two of operation "Taye-Taye Bang-Bang" by buying a $4.9 million in the Instagram bikini feet models New York City apartment building. The impressive pad hardly broke the bank being that Bloom's net worth is reportedly estimated to be near $65 million, but it's still a hell of a move just to presumably get close Swift.
Word has it as of late that Taylor Swift has been under s constant romantic assault from Hobbit Lothario, Orlando Bloom, ever since the Hollywood movie side-kick supposedly got her number from hot-mess bestie Selena Gomez (via National Enquirer):
"Orlando has been bombarding Taylor with text messages and phone calls, begging her for a date.
"But she's been playing hard to get.
"She's flattered because she thinks Orlando is so sexy and, in normal circumstances, she would leap at the chance.
"Taylor knows that Selena is nuts about Orlando and wants to have a real relationship with him."
Apparently Orlando is going to be making it a lot easier for Taylor to succumb to temptation by moving into her posh apartment building despite the pricey entrance fee according to the July 14, edition of Life & Style Magazine:
"Built in 1882 as a factory warehouse, the space was reconfigured into luxe condos...Really luxe.
"Fellow A-lister Taylor Swift reportedly plunked down $20 million for a pad there."
When you consider what Taye-Taye paid to stay in the same building, it makes Orlando's little $4.9 million expenditure look like chump change.
Or course, Orlando might be planning to spend most of his time there sleeping at Taylor's place anyways.
