Word has it that Hollywood wives Ellen DeGeneres and Portia de Rossi are trying to do whatever they can to save their marriage from divorce following the Arrested Development star's release from rehab in May. According to rumor de Rossi secretly recorded her day time talk show host during one of their drunken fights, when she was still considering a split. The latest tabloid gossip news claims that it really hit the fan once Ellen discovered the video's existence. It's almost impossible to say if Ellen and Portia will ever get the trust back.
Some friends of Ellen DeGeneres and Portia de Rossi claim that the ladies are the picture of marital bliss until you give them a cocktail--that's when things go up in flames.
"Ellen and Portia can love each other one day and truly mean it, but you add some alcohol and they're mortal enemies.
"They can be a nightmare to each other.
"Portia secretly taped some of their arguments...sobbing screaming matches [where] Ellen always hits below the belt.
"She was drunk...Then threatened to expose Ellen as controlling and manipulating."
According to the publication Ellen freaked when she found out--destroying Portia's phone and screening her emails for any signs that she sent out the video.
But all the supposedly happened before de Rossi reportedly went to rehab to deal with her dependency issues.
"Portia going to rehab was the first step in saving their relationship.
"They want their marriage to work more than anything."
Yeah...whatever.
