NBC Moves ‘Blacklist’ to Thursday Night Vs CBS NFL: Kills Renewed ‘Parks & Rec’ After ‘Community’ Cancellation

It is that time of year, where all our of your favorite (non-summer) show’s are winding down for the season. Most of the major networks have announced their schedules for this fall. One of the biggest hits of the past season has been NBC’s 'The Blacklist.' Now the network is planning to move the hit series to Thursday night, putting it up against the CBS’s NFL coverage. The Thursday night face-lift also means that the network has killed it’s comedy lineup. 'Community' has been canceled while the renewed 'Parks and Rec' is no where to be seen.

    CBS’ new comedy Friends with Better Lives has not had the impact that network was hoping for. Dawson Creek star James Van Der Beek's return to TV was promoted heavily to the 'How I Met Your Mother' crowd. However, after only five episodes the show has been canceled. 'HIMYM’s' absence has been felt across the board on Monday night. After moving into Neil Patrick Harris’ old time slot, Kat Dennings and Beth Behrs’ '2 Broke Girls' saw a steep ratings decline. Despite losing it’s lead in and millions of viewers, the show was renewed for a fourth season.
  • ‘Almost Human’ Netflix and Amazon Renewal Petition After Fox Cancellation

    Last week it was announced that Fox had cancelled 'Almost Human.' We wrote a report on the cancellation and made mention of the show’s small but loyal fan-base, comparing it the short lived series 'Firefly.' However, even we were wrong about how devoted the Almost Human fan base was. Since our last report, fans of the futuristic cop-drama have started a petition to save the show. The group are calling every network imaginable, including, Amazon, Netflix, NBC, CBS, and Syfy to bring back the show.
