Netflix Confirms Marvel's 'Iron Fist': Scott Buck of 'Dexter' Will be Showrunner
Marvel has been very busy on Netflix as of late. Not only have they hit it big with 'Daredevil' and their latest series, 'Jessica Jones', but they plan to premiere 'Luke Cage' in 2016, as well as a miniseries, 'The Defenders', in either 2016 or 2017. The latest addition to this growing cadre of heroes is 'Iron Fist'. Netflix has confirmed that Scott Buck, the writer and producer of many 'Dexter' episodes will be 'Iron Fist's' showrunner. On January 1, a new contract between Netflix and Disney begins, that will bring a lot of Disney's big titles to the streaming service. The best thing about this? Disney films will appear on Netflix a few weeks after they stop showing in theaters.
