Alex Lacamoire, 'Hamilton' Music Mastermind Talks Ingredients Behind Musical Success

The paths traced in Broadway's smash hit, "Hamilton," are endless. Lin-Manuel Miranda's brainchild takes in the life and history of Alexander Hamilton but with its own added ingredients. With the music as one of those ingredients, so is Alex Lacamoire, the man who orchestrated the score and co-arranged the songs.

    SiriusXM On Broadway host and living Broadway encyclopedia, Seth Rudetsky is gearing to bring his new musical, 'Disaster,' to the Great White Way. The new jukebox musical, a parody of 70’s disaster films, was written by Rudetsky and Jack Plotnick, stars some of Broadway’s finest, including Roger Bart, Kevin Chamberlin, Faith Prince, Adam Pascal and many, many more. Disaster goes into previews early Feb before a March opening.

  • Police Drummer Stewart Copeland Brings 'Off the Score' Quintet to Schimmel Center

    Stewart Copeland is no longer drumming with Sting but instead coining operas. Having premiered a revamped version of The Cask of Amontillado at Dixon Place in New York, the drummer-cum-composer will now bring Off the Score, a collaborative effort with pianist Jon Kimura Parker, to Pace University's Schimmel Center on April 8.
