‘Fast & Furious 8’: Vin Diesel Fires James Wan after Paul Walker Last Movie?

Despite the fact the 'Fast & Furious 7' director James Wan, was able to turn Paul Walker's last film into a billion-and-a-half-dollar hit, there is no guarantee that the Conjuring visionary is coming back for 'Fast 8.' According to the latest gossip news updates, Universal is still in talks with several new directors, but executive producer, Vin Diesel, seems to be leaning toward 'Fast' franchise veteran, Justin Lin, who directed the last three films in the series leading up to this year's over-the-top sequel. While it seems hard to believe, Neal Moritz, who has been with the franchise since the very beginning, insists that the real reason a 'Fast 8' director hasn't been selected at this point, is because it's just too early in the process to know what kind of movie they are going to make next.
