Lords of Dogtown Shogo Kubo Dead: Co-Founder Of Z-Boys Skate Crew Killed in Surfing Accident, Friend Stacy Peralta Comments

Shogo Kubo, one of the founders of the Zephyr Skate Team, died last Tuesday while surfing in Hawaii. The legendary Z-Boys revolutionized skateboarding, taking it from fun sidewalk frivolity to extreme rebellious expression. Immortalized in the film Lords Of Dogtown, Kubo and the rest of the Zephyr crew are credited with inventing vertical skateboarding in the 70's when they used to seek out empty pools in Venice neighborhoods and began turning them into impromptu skate parks. Kubo was presumably killed in a surfing accident, found dead in the water. He is remembered and mourned by many, including friend and teammate Stacy Peralta.

    If you have been on Facebook anytime in the last week, than you have probably been exposed to one nasty nipple. A viral video has been making the rounds, warning viewers of horrific breast rash that is results of certain shampoos, including popular name brand Head & Shoulders. It appears that the shampoos are infested with larvae. Well, we should say, that is how it seems on Facebook user who don’t know how to use 'Snopes.' The hoax busting website has weighed in on weather the image is real or fake.
