Though he has only officially come out this week, it has been the worst kept secret of the WWE for some time. After being briefly fired and then re-hired in the 90's following a sexual harassment lawsuit filed by a male co-worker, Patterson eventually retired from full-time work with the company amidst rumors and whispers.
