Bollywood Life is reporting that icon Shah Rukh Khan is very serious about bringing the hit American TV show Breaking Bad to the shores of India in the form of a movie, with SRK taking the role of Walter White. Imagine it, SRK doing an entire song and dance routine in a meth lab. Surreal, right? If anyone in Bollywoodland can do it and get away with such a risky topic, for Bollywood, at least, it is Shah Rukh Khan. 'Mystery Science Theater 3000' Comeback Sets Kickstarter Funding Record
The show that not only made fun of bad films but also expanded out movie consciousness (How else could we know Bert I. Gordon, Hal Warren or Coleman Francis?) is coming back. Show creator Joel Hodgson has long expressed a desire to bring the show back for a whole new generation to discover. He started a Kickstarter account for that purpose and it not only reached but broke the Kickstarter record for film and TV previously held by the theatrical film version of Veronica Mars.
