Just when it looked like ER alum, George Clooney, was poised to have it all, he reportedly loses his best Hollywood buddy, Brad Pitt, because the hunk's jealous wife, Angelina Jolie, can't deal with how insecure London lawyer, Amal Alamuddin-Clooney, makes her feel. According to the latest gossip news updates, not only did Angie force her Ocean's Eleven hubby to boycott two separate Batman weddings, now the Goodwill sex-symbol is starting static at the UN. Clooney's rep claims the contrary, but word has it that the old pal's new brides are tearing their longtime friendship apart.
Word has it that Angelina Jolie is going out of her way to snub George Clooney's new wife, Amal Alamuddin, despite their sharing similar interests and circles of friends.
According to an insider, who spoke to Star Magazine in time for their November 24, issue, Brangelina's excuse about being too busy shooting By the Sea together, to make the wedding is nonsense--especially considering their filming it on the island of Malta:
"It's B.S. that Brad and Angie were too busy to make it.
"They were invited, and Brad gave George his word he would be there.
"But Angie vetoed the trip at the last minute, despite Malta being a short plane ride away from Venice [where George and Amal were married]."
The informant goes on to insist that in addition to missing a second much smaller ceremony a month later, Angelina ever refused to meet Amal for a photo-op when Jolie recently spoke at an United Nation event in London:
"Angie completely blew Amal off.
"There was absolutely no way she was going to share to the limelight with Amal."
The reason for Angie's animosity, claims the source, has more to with Angelina's hatred for herself than Alamuddin:
"For all the charity work, Angie is deeply insecure, self-absorbed and calculating.
"It eats at her that Amal is everything that she isn't."
The party poopers over at Gossip Cop claim to have contacted Clooney's rep who has assured them that, "This story is 100 percent fiction."
But if that were the case, why weren't Brangelina sitting next to Bill Murray with bells on...like the entire world expected of them?
