Fans of the buxom blonde bombshell, Kate Hudson, were shocked to find out that she had already been seen making out with her Dancing with the Stars bestie, Dereck Hough, prior to the official announcement that she and her fiancé, Matt Bellamy, had split. According to the latest gossip news updates, Kate was actually dating the championship dancer months prior to the December revelation -- not that her baby daddy seems to mind the Goldie Hawn made Instagram model already having a new boyfriend. Word has it that as far as Kate has come to speaking about the breakup thus far was during her People Magazine Awards speech, perhaps because Bellamy happily broke the news days before the event.
More than just Kate Hudson's fans were shocked when Mormon born and raised Derek Hough was seen making out with a presumably still engaged Kate Hudson at Mr. Nice Guy restaurant December 5 -- four whole days before her breakup to Matt Bellamy was announced.
A source claiming to know the whole sorted story insisted in the December 29, issue of Us Weekly that truth be told Kate and Derek have been going at it from the very moment that Bellamy and Hudson decided to end it:
"He did not try to hook up with Kate while they were together.
"[But] as Kate told Derek about her problems with Matt they grew closer and closer.
"Derek [then] knew the relationship was over, so he didn't think twice about hooking up with Kate."
Whatever is going on with Kate and Matt, Hudson hasn't been much for talking about it -- only cryptically mentioning anything was wrong during her People Magazine Awards acceptance speech for Celebrity Role Model of the Year (via Daily Mail):
"Life is a journey with its ups and downs, its challenges and its triumphs. Don't ever let anyone ever push you around."
While Kate may not be one to talk about what's going on in her love life just yet, the Us Weekly spy says Hudson is like a brand new woman now that she's given Bellamy his ring back, so to speak:
"Kate feels liberated at like a big weight has been lifted from her shoulders.
"She definitely has a wild child streak and is enjoying her life right now."
Yeah...it really doesn't sound like not having enough freedom has ever been an issue for Kate Hudson.
