A.J. Lee is one of the most popular and sexy Divas in the WWE. Recently, however, she made a "cryptic" statement that left a lot of fans worried that she would retire from the organization. Now, it is being speculated that her speech was actually a show of disrespect toward her fellow female wrestlers.
27-year-ols April Brooks, a.k.a. AJ Lee, reigns out of Unions City, New Jersey. In 2009, Lee joined one of the WWE's developmental subsidiaries, Florida Championship Wrestling.
Since then, she has had an extremely successful wrestling career and was even named 2013's Diva of the Year.
In turn, the speech Lee made during the Nikki Bella and Alicia Fox match really had AJ fans worried. According to Inquisitr, It seemed that AJ was subtlety announcing her retirement:
"Will we the see the WWE Diva, AJ Lee, leaving like her husband, CM Punk, soon? A cryptic comment made during the recent match between Nikki Bella and Alicia Fox has everyone guessing what is going through her head...During the WWE Divas match, AJ Lee joined the announce team only to make an interesting comment that could be interpreted as a hint that she may be leaving some time in the near future. [She said] 'I feel like you guys aren't asking me enough questions while I'm out here...You're going to miss me when I'm gone.'"
Now, however, people are seeing her speech to have a different meaning, and according to Fansided, the words may have left her without any allies:
"It's not known yet whether or not AJ Lee's WWE career is coming to a close, but if it does, she apparently might not be leaving with very many friends... There is a lot of heat on AJ backstage for a couple reasons...some were not too pleased with her Slammy speech a few weeks ago where she basically bashed the entire Divas roster."
