Tonight, NBC’s Parks and Rec is back with two all new final season episodes. This week Tom (Aziz Ansari) and Donna (Retta) celebrate Treat Yo Self Day 2017.
The official plot synopsis for tonight’s first all new episode of Parks and Rec, titled “Gryzzlbox,” reads:
“Leslie and Ben have a sneaking suspicion that Gryzzl is invading the privacy of Pawnee residents; April conducts a meeting with the new Parks and Rec interns; and Tom advises Andy about renegotiating a contract.”
The official plot synopsis for tonight’s second all new episode of Parks & Rec, titled “Save JJ’s,” reads:
“Leslie holds a rally in an attempt to keep JJ's Diner from closing; and Tom surprises Donna with the ultimate prewedding gift.”

Last week Leslie (Amy Poehler) and Ron (Nick Offerman) worked out their differences. Recently, P&R executive producer Mike Schur opened up to Entertainment Weekly about how scary it was to have the show’s two main leads at odds:
“I could not have been less nervous about it. It’s good [if people are uncomfortable with it]. That’s the desired reaction. I would be nervous if you were telling me that people were watching this show and going, ‘Oh good, finally Leslie and Ron hate each other.’ That would make me very nervous. because that would mean that we grossly miscalculated how people felt about them.”
