It seems that Extant starlet Halle Berry may once again be taking ex-boyfriend and father of her daughter Nahla to court over child support payments. According to the latest gossip news updates, Cat Woman thinks that Gabriel Aubrey spends much of the money intended for their child on his own personal expenses. Word has it that the Oscar winner has to practically pay for everything thanks to her husband, Olivier Martinez, beating his rival so badly on Thanksgiving Day 2012, that he hasn't really been able to work as a model since.
It's not always easy being Halle Berry, but it isn't bad being her baby-daddy ex-boyfriend.
Apparently, the Monster Ball sex-symbol is seething not only at the thought of paying hundreds of thousand is child support every year to the male model but also at how the 39-year-old single dad spends the money he's given.
A source close to Halle revealed in the March 9, issue of In Touch that X-MEN original is convinced that a significant portion of the $18K he's awarded every month goes to hair plugs, tanning salons and personal trainers for Nahla's dad -- not his daughter:
"Halle's worried her money is being used for his lifestyle.
"She's hoping to put an end to it."
You might think that Halle would have a bit more compassion for Aubrey's money troubles since they seem to stem from his inability to find work following a brutal beating at the hands of her current husband, Olivier Martinez, outside her home a few years ago.
While Halle insists she has never been involved directly in an abusive relationship herself, during her recent speech at unite4:good's unite4:humunity gala, Berry recalled witnessing that kind of abuse firsthand as a child (via E! News):
"I'm a victim of domestic violence.
"I wasn't married to a man that beat me up, but my mother was.
"Knowing that she wanted nothing more then for her little girls to see her be empowered and be a woman of strength, but having no way to make that happen was heartbreaking for me."
Having that kind of relationship with violence in her past, you think that Halle Berry would really by angry with unstable Olivier instead of his punching bag.
