Ronda Rousey Next Fight Rumors: Cat Zingano Second Chance or Male Opponent?

Ronda Rousey has proven time and time again that she deserves the untainted title of Women's Bantamweight Champion. After her recent destruction of Cat Zingano, many have asked who will be next on Rousey's list. One source recently suggested that Zingano deserves a rematch, however, others have gone so far as to say that only a man will be able to take her down.

Before her time in the UFC, Ronda was breaking records as the first woman to win an Olympic medal in Judo. Now, Rousey is one of the most dominant fighters in all of mixed martial arts.

She has taken down every single top fighter that has stepped her way, and her recent win over Cat Zingano only amplified Ronda's supremacy.

Logically, many have wondered who will be Ronda's next opponent. According to Independent, Zingano deserves a second chance:

"[It wasn't surprising] when a panicked Zingano charged across the Octagon and into a trademark Rousey arm bar in just 14 seconds. Yet again the UFC's bantamweight title was wrapped around Ronda's waist in front of an astonished and euphoric California crowd...a rematch would be a gritty affair, and Ronda herself admitted at the post-fight press conference that the loss didn't mean Zingano wasn't worthy of a rematch."

True, it was sad to see such a promising athlete go down so fast. However, as ESPN pointed out, this could be proof that Ronda is destined to fight a man:

"Ronda Rousey has spent barely any time in the cage in her last two UFC fights, dispensing with Alexis Davis and Cat Zingano in a combined total of 30 seconds. She's won every MMA fight she has ever faced in the women's division, and the number of opponents who could reasonably take her on seems to be dwindling. [One betting website] set 25-1 odds on Rousey to fight a male opponent before the end of 2016.UFC announcer Joe Rogan has stated Ronda...'might be able to beat 50 percent' of UFC male bantamweight fighters..."
