In the months since first announcing their plans to divorce, Nick Cannon has been attached to at least four different women, but Mariah's Carey's America's Got Talent host husband insists that he isn't dating anyone while still going through their split. The "All I Want for Christmas is You" Rockefeller Center crooner is also said to have a new boyfriend if Rush Hour director, Brett Ratner. According to the latest gossip news updates, however, reps for the man that launched the Marvel movie universe insist that the couple are just longtime friends and, apparently, vacation buddies.
With Nick Cannon's star still on the rise it just seems hard for his fans and friends to accept that he really isn't seeing any of the super-gorgeous heavy hitters that he's been linked to in recent weeks.
The latest flavor of the month is said to be model turned musician Jessica White reports E! News, who explains that Jessica is already in love with Nick though she respects his boundaries:
"Jessica is completely smitten over Nick between his personality and good looks.
"She has been telling her close friends he makes her feel like she is on cloud nine and so loved.
"Jessica really accepts all that he is and really admires him through this hard time that's going on with his family.
"She hopes one day to have children of her own."
When the Entertainment Tonight's red carpet hyenas recently tracked Cannon down to ask him if he was really with Jessica or some other lucky Hollywood hottie (via Yahoo! News):
"No, you can't go with any of those [rumored girlfriends].
"It's just Nick...Nick by Himself.
"We're just out her to have a good time."
If it makes Nick feel any better, Brett Ratner's people also swear that the rumor he is dating Mariah Carey is completely "ridiculous".
According the rep, Brett and Mariah are just hanging out like they have been doing for years (via People):
"They have been best friends for a very long time."
In other words, Brett may have been trying to make a move way back in the day, but after a decade of dating the world's most beautiful supermodels, he's pretty sure he'll pass on this middle-aged version of his onetime celbirty crush.
