Have no fear Taylor Swift fans, the '1989' singer's new boyfriend, Calvin Harris is getting the public approval of her closest fans; so the EDM DJ can't be all bad. According to the latest gossip news updates, both besties, Ed Sheeran, who the "Red" writer was once said to be dating herself, and Jamie King, have confirmed that the 31-year-old Scot is a super-standup guy. Unfortunately, the "Back Space" star probably isn't able to really enjoy her new found love now that her mom has sadly been diagnosed with cancer.
While 25-year-old country maven turned pop superstar, Taylor Swift, may not have officially announced that she and Calvin Harris are a couple, all her closest friends seem to have mysteriously met the Scottish DJ already.
At the premiere of the new documentary Dior and I, Taylor's close friend Jamie King, told E! News that she thought Harris was absolutely perfect:
"[Calvin] is a wonderful man...He's a beautiful man."
Although Ed Sheeran didn't spend much time talking about how beautiful Harris is, the "Don't" singer told ZM Online that he had met Taylor's new beau and really thought he was alright (via E! News):
"He's cool...He's a really nice guy, yeah.
"Really, really nice guy."
It's well passed time that Taylor had a nice new man in her life, but she hardly had any time at all to enjoy it before sadly making the announcement about her mother's sickness.
Swift recently broke the news that the doctor's checkup that she and her brother talked her mom into getting at Christmas turned up some disturbing results (via Star Magazine):
"There were no red flags and she felt perfectly fine, but she did it just ot get me and my brother off her case about it.
"The results came in, and I saddened to tell you that my mom has been diagnosed with cancer."
A source close to Taylor explained in the April 27, issue of Star Magazine, that right now, Taylor is focused on getting her mom healthy again above everything else in this world:
"Andrea has been there for Taylor every step of the way.
"Taylor feels that this is her moment to be there for her.
"She told Andrea that they will beat this together."
Let's hope that Taylor will be able to lean on Calvin as her mom leans on her.
