Ever since Zayn Malik announced that he would be quitting One Direction, the internet has been abuzz with rumors that the most popular boyband on Earth would soon be breaking up. Teenage girls weren't the only ones who regretted Zayn leaving the band, as Noel Gallagher recently shared his thoughts on the split. Meanwhile, current crooner Harry Styles shows no signs of leaving, even though he may be dating a new girlfriend. Yes, she is a model.
Zayn Malik may be steadfast in his decision to leave international sensation One Direction, but that doesn't shield the young singer from criticism regarding his decision.
The most vocal opponent, perhaps, of Zayn quitting One Direction comes from Noel Gallagher.
The fellow singer made his thoughts very clear after Zayn first announced he was calling it quits. And, according to Entertainment Tonight, on a recent episode of Late Late Show, Noel further elaborated on Zayn's major mistake:
"Gallagher went on The Late Late Show with James Corden Monday night, where he performed and shared some more feelings on Malik's departure. 'I can't understand why he would do it, because they've only got at most five years left,' he told Corden. 'He should just stand in the back, smoke weed, get laid, just pick up the check up. But he should get himself a good accountant.'"
Of course, Gallagher's criticism isn't the only reason that the boys of 1D find themselves in the news.
Hunky heartthrob Harry Styles, who recently collaborated with Meghan Trainor on a new single, is also making headlines over, what else, his dating life.
According to a new report by The Mirror, Harry might be dating current supermodel and former George Clooney girlfriend, Lisa Snowdon. Latin Post tells readers that the two were even spotted getting cozy on social media:
"...the "Steal My Girl" crooner hung out backstage with supermodel and George Clooney's ex-girlfriend, Lisa Snowdon, who came out with her father to the show...the Capital FM radio presenter took to her Twitter account on the following day to post a selfie she took with Styles. In the image, she is seen smiling while cozying up with the 1D member, who is standing in between her and her dad, holding up a peace sign."
