Roman Reigns Should Be WWE World Heavyweight Champion Following Survivor Series

Since Seth Rollins' knee injury, it has seemed like the sure bet guy to take his title is Roman Reigns. He was the No.1 contender for the title going into Survivor Series and has looked strong recently. He is coming off a great feud with Bray Wyatt and his family and has momentum going into the event. Considering how much he has improved in the months following WrestleMania 31, he deserves a run with the title.

At Mania, Reigns lost to Seth Rollins the impromptu Triple Threat Match to end the show. Reigns had no feud with the reigning champion Brock Lesnar, and the final Raw before Mania saw the lamest going away moment ever. By the time they hit the ring at Levi's Stadium, Reigns was at his lowest level of popularity and was booed out of the ring.

There are plenty of worthy competitors that also can lay claim of the title. Dean Ambrose needs to be champion, and I hope it's soon. He is wonderful in the ring and is hilarious on a mic. Cesaro is technically the best wrestler in the business and is extremely popular. Kevin Owens is new to the company, but has been working so hard over the past 10+ years to get to this spot that he deserves it as much as anybody.

Now, the IWC still is not keen on Reigns, but he has done some great things recently and has been so good in the ring that his less-than-stellar mic work can be forgiven. Reigns has had great matches with plenty of competitiors. From Wyatt, who is very good in the ring, to Big Show, who is nowhere near the in-ring competitor he once was, everyone Reigns has faced, specifically at Pay Per Views, has had a great match.

Whether it has been in the title picture or on the undercard, Reigns has put together matches worthy of a title reign. Rollins' injury is an awful occurence for the WWE but there is another champion that can step in and take Rollins' place while he is on the mend.
