If you haven't liked the two previous J.J. Abrams Star Trek films, then you are in for a treat. The first trailer for Star trek Beyond goes live, and brings more action and more excitement. This teaser is loaded with in your face action and humor, just like the previous two.
Can you contain all of the excitement in your bones now? If you are one of a number a Star Trek fans who is tired of hearing about Star Wars: The Force Awakens, then today is a time to rejoice. The first teaser trailer for the third film in the rebooted Star Trek franchise has gone live, right in the face of a Star Wars epidemic!
When J.J. passed on Trek to focus on Star Wars some fans rejoiced, saying that the director was trying to turn Star Trek into another Star Wars. Citing that the new films use action in place of true science and trample over everything that the franchise initially stood for, they were not sad to see him go. I don't think that they will like where the franchise is apparently headed. The powers-that-be for Trek seem to be dead-set on keeping the action-oriented shift going.
The film signed director Justin Lin (Fast and Furious) to direct Beyond, practically stamping a guarantee in it. We now have our first official look at the film, and it appears that Star trek Beyond will be a fast and furious ride. Check out the trailer below:
The trailer opens up with the Beastie Boys' Sabotage being played throughout the ship, but it is not the Enterprise. So, how has the crew managed to lose the Enterprise? We get a ton of first looks at the multitudes of alien life that we will see in the third film. Beyond stars Idris Elba, Sofia Boutella, Chris Pine, and Simon Pegg.
