Chloe Grace Moretz grabbed headlines recently when she publicly slammed Kim Kardashian’s infamous nude selfie. Now, the Kick-Ass star reveals that she turned down an invitation to be a part of the most sought-after circles in Hollywood -- Taylor Swift's squad!
The 19-year-old actress shared her feelings about these posses to Complex magazine. She said squads are no better than high-school cliques.
“They appropriate exclusivity,” she told the magazine. “They’re cliques! It’s not just about women being powerful,” she noted.

The actress and model is close with Selena Gomez, who is pretty tight with Swift. And Moretz told Complex that her association with the “Same Old Love” singer led to Swift inviting her to join the exclusive squad.
Considering Moretz confirms that she was indeed asked to join Swift’s circle, it looks like the actress decided to reject that particular invitation regardless of how talented a person Swift may be.
"We want to make this good for girls," she said. "We can't make this regressive tale in a modern world. We're going to flip it on its head. It's going to feel good for women and men in the sense that it's not just appropriating feminism, and it's not leaning on regressive stereotypes."
