After Sexual Assault Investigation, Colin Kaepernick Says Hurt Foot In 2013 A Non-Issue

Young 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick is looking to get his offense going in the preseason. After being investigated through much of the spring and summer for his alleged involvement in a sexual assault claim, Kaepernick is focusing on football. It came to light that Kaepernick suffered through a foot injury for much of the 2013, but Kap says it's a non-issue. He says football players play through pain and he never felt he was injured, just hurt. Fans of the movie The Program indubitably can appreciate that maxim.

    Former New England Patriots tight end Aaron Hernandez will be tried for the murder of Odin Lloyd on October 6. He will also be tried for the 2012 murders of Daniel Abreu and Safiro Furtado on May 28 of next year. In addition to investigating his tattoos the prosecutors have tried to establish a pattern of violent and unpredictable behavior in the cases against Hernandez. In the alleged double homicide, for example, Hernandez is accused of having gotten upset that Abreu bumped into him and spilled his drink on Hernandez. While dates have been set for both shootings there is also a string of alleged violent behavior dating back at least to his college days at Florida University.

Then this week on The View, as he signed a $30 Million contract extension on the air he also donated $1 Million to the mental health community.
