It would seems that earlier reports that Carrie Underwood and Mile Fisher's baby delay had to do with the Twitter star's difficulty getting pregnant may very well be false. According to the latest gossip news updates, the "Something in the Water" singer wanted to put off getting pregnant for as long as possible, but her hockey playing husband was ready to end their marriage if the delay went on any longer. Word has it that if Carrie wants to keep a divorce off the books going into her annual Country Music Awards hosting gig with Brad Paisley than she was going to have to deal with the possibility of a baby bump crowding up some of her CMA Twitter pics come the award show's live air date.
Word had it that Carrie Underwood and Mike Fisher had been trying for months to have a baby, which you would think led to lots of making plans about what to do once the baby got here.
Surprisingly, however, Carrie admitted to CMT that she hadn't really given much thought to the whole post pregnancy thing in light on their not yet knowing whether to paint the nursery pink or blue:
"We haven't really worried about too much...Until we find out if it's going to be a boy or a girl.
"We haven't really done anything with the room or anything."
"It's still strange to honestly wrap my head around it, as I'm sure it is with all pregnant people. But it's exciting."
A friend claiming to have inside information revealed in Life & Style Magazine's October 27, issue, that may have something to do with Carrie not really wanting to have this kid right now in the first place.
The source said that had it not been for Mike's constant pressuring, Underwood would be having that baby much further in the future:
"About eight months ago, Carrie and Mike were fighting all the time...she wanted to wait longer, but he wanted a baby."
According to the spy getting pregnant has absolutely done wonders for their marriage--with the couple getting closer than ever now that the bickering has stopped.
And, who knows...it might even stymie the annual Carrie and Brad Paisley cheating affair rumors that seem to accompany their CMA show appearance every year.
