Even though you had probably heard the Shailene Woodley was dating her Divergent co-star, Theo James, the White Bird in A Blizzard topless star has just been linked to Hawaiian folk musician Nahko Bear, according to all the latest gossip news updates. When it was recently announced that Shai's Fault in Our Stars boyfriend, Ansel Elgort, split up with his longtime girlfriend, Violetta Komyshan, some folks speculated that he was setting his sights on Shailene, but it appears that Ansolo might have missed his chance.
Divergent superstar, Shailene Woodley has gone out of her way in recent months to tout the talents of Hawiaan folk singer Nahko Bear, going as far as mentions him and his band by name in international interviews.
In a quote from E! News, Shailene gave Mr. Bear a shout out that tied in with her own plugging of All It Takes--an NPO that focuses on an individual's ability to affect positive change locally and globally:
"[Nahko] has dramatically changed my life.
"All of his songs are not only inspirational but relatable, and they coincide perfectly with the vision All It Takes has."
According to the people at E! Online, that admiration for inspiration has become something more akin to affection at this point:
"Rumors on the island are that Shailene and Nahko have been dating for a while and she may visit him in Australia while he's touring."
While no one can really be certain if there was any truth to the speculation that Ansel Elgort broke up with his high school sweetheart, Violetta Komyshan, in order to have a shot at Shailene, Woodley cleared the air in an interview with Daily Mail--explaining that her relationship with Ansel goes as far as the script allows and no further:
"We went from brother and sister to lovers and now we're back in the brother-sister game."
Who knows...with any luck Ansel could still be able to parlay that working friendship with Shai into a romantic relationship with her White Bird in a Blizzard costar, Gabourey Sidibe.
