5 Bold Predictions for Atlanta Falcons vs. Carolina Panthers in NFL Week 16

The Atlanta Falcons will host the Carolina Panthers in NFL Week 16 action. What five bold predictions can be made for the game and what should fans be on the lookout for throughout the game?

1. Matt Ryan Will Throw at Least Three Interceptions

One of the biggest disappointments for the Falcons this season has been the play of quarterback Matt Ryan. He has done everything but prove that he can be the long-term franchise quarterback for the Falcons. Ryan will struggle once again this week against the Panthers' impressive defense and will throw at least three interceptions in the game.

2. Cam Newton Will Rack Up 400 Total Yards, Four Touchdowns

Cam Newton is without question the front-runner to win the NFL MVP award this season with the performance that he has put up. He has yet another chance to prove that he deserves the award this week as his team looks to improve to 15-0 on the season. Newton will do just that and will total 400 yards and four touchdowns throughout the course of the game.

3. Julio Jones Will Give the Falcons' Offense a Chance

We are predicting that Matt Ryan will have a terrible game, but despite that fact they will still have a chance to win the football game. It isn't a good chance, but they have to go to Julio Jones and hope that he can make superstar caliber plays. Jones will give his team a chance, but the Falcons' defense will have to get stops in order to pull off the unlikely win.

4. Greg Olsen Will Record 150 Yards, Three Touchdowns

Perhaps one of the most underrated offensive weapon in the NFL is Panthers' tight end Greg Olsen. He is going to shred the Atlanta defense for at least 150 yards and three touchdowns this week. Those numbers may be hard to believe and he may fall short, but he is going to have a huge game for the Panthers.

5. Carolina Remains Undefeated to Move to 15-0

While the Falcons aren't going to go down without a fight, they simply aren't good enough to beat the Panthers at this point in time the season. Newton and Carolina will improve to 15-0 and be just one game shy of a perfect regular season. There is no question that the Panthers are the best team in the NFL right now and they will get the job done this week.
