Steve Martin and Edie Brickell’s all new musical Bright Star is taking Broadway by storm and pretty soon audiences from all over will be able brighten up their own homes with a little piece of the musical. Ghostlight records recently announced the upcoming release of the Bright Star original cast recording latter this Spring.
Bright Star was created by Steve Martin (music, book & story) and Edie Brickell (music, lyrics & story) and is directed by Walter Bobbie.
Bright Star stars Carmen Cusack as Alice with Paul Alexander Nolan, Michael Mulheren, A.J. Shively, Hannah Elless, Stephen Bogardus, Dee Hoty, Stephen Lee Anderson, Emily Padgett, Jeff Blumenkrantz, along with Maddie Shea Baldwin, Allison Briner-Dardenne, Max Chernin, Patrick Cummings, Sandra DeNise, Richard Gatta, Lizzie Klemperer, Michael X. Martin, William Michals, Tony Roach, Sarah Jane Shanks and William Youmans.

Bright Star began previews on February 25 and will officially open on March 24.
