Friends and family of Nicole Richie are reportedly scared to death that Lionel Richie's adopted daughter is up to her old anorexic dieting habits again. The fashion designer, who is looking pine straw thin these days, has denied rumors that her eating disorder is back in full swing. Richie claims it's news to her, she isn't doing anything that's unusual.
Friends of reality star Nicole Richie are starting to fear, as her skeleton frame of the past returns that her past eating disorders must have returned with it.
A friend close to Richie told Star that Nichole was looking every bit as bad as she did before she went to rehab for anorexia years ago:
"These days, Nicole certainly looks like she did when she was starving herself and purging her food. She once told me that when she didn't let her food digest she would turn gray. Right now, she looks far too thin and grey. I'm very concerned."
While at Richie's home, another friend told Star that Nicole admitted her body was showing the strains of malnutrition:
"I was at Nicole's house last week and went to give her a hug, and she said, 'Don't do that. I'm going to bruise,' she said that the last time she had an eating disorder, and it's a telltale sign she is sick again."
But Nicole told In Touch that the rumors were no more than that, and she wasn't paying any attention to the silly gossip:
"I'm [exercising] two hours a day four days a week. This is the only workout I've ever done that I've been able to eat whatever I want."
The real question is, has she wanted to eat anything?
