The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills cast is killing Lisa Vanderpump this season, with their devilish antics. Brandi Glanville has been constantly trying to start a feud with the Vanderpumps over a million slights, imagined and otherwise, while Kim Richards has accused Lisa of ruining everyone's life. Joyce Giraud and Carlton Gebbia's witchcraft back-and-forth hasn't been bringing anyone any peace either.
Lisa Vanderpump recently explained in an interview that she didn't really know what she was getting into when she signed up for Housewives.
The restaurateur/busy body told Star that this season has been especially rough on her, but she'd be fine:
"It was tough. [The other Housewives] definitely succeeded in making things difficult for me--but I've been married for a lifetime and a half, and I have raised a child and put her through college. I won't be affected by their petty, bitchy remarks."
Vanderpump went on the acknowledge Brandi Glanville's Twitter attacks, whithout giving Glanville the satisfaction of having her name brought up:
"I believe that tweeting is a good way to communicate with fans- - not a good way to put down your castmates. It would be easy for me to say something bad back to these people, but if it comes to that for me, there is no point anymore continuing on the show."
Having said that she did acknowledge that Kim Richards comments were the cause of everyone's problems, but explained in the Star interview that you can't sweat the haters:
"All those comments are non-sense. I don't take anything she says seriously. All of her constant mean tweeting. I pay no attention to any of it...I have seen the snarky comments on the talk shows. Being attacked has been really tough, but for the most part I feel lucky. I try not to take myself too seriously."
Lisa has recently thanked the viewers for helping her through this trying season.
